Dozens of sites including full hook-ups, tent and primitive sites.  Come to the mountains and see the world's second oldest river and the only one of two in the world that flow North. We are the only locale that borders both the North and South forks of the New River before they join and head north.

 

Sites range from $20-$25 and include two adults.

Additional adults $5, children under 12 free. Cash or check only.

We offer clean bath houses with hot showers, fire pits, picnic tables and play area for children.

Also available are firewood, ice, fishworms and

innertubes for rent.

 

Local attractions include Shatley Springs Restaurant, Church of the Frescoes, Ashe County Cheese Plant (NC's only), the Blue Ridge Parkway, Christmas in July and the Virginia Creeper Trail among others.

Twin Rivers Family Campground is operated by Peyton, Angie and Laken Colvard.  We are lifelong residents of Ashe County.  This is our 10th year at the campground.  We both work full-time jobs in addition to operating the campground.  We are also raising a teenager!!
